About Me

And that’s me.

Honestly speaking, being an amateur/tyro/minnow and other words in similar line, I find it really difficult as what to include and what not to in this section of blog. Perplexed, but finding this section of utmost importance, I begin.

Hi, I’m Ankit (literally means- ‘inscribed’). I look something like in the image to the right – visual images help remember things and people. Source of this concept? None I can recollect at this moment.

Currently I am pursuing my M.B.A from B.K. School of Business Management, Gujarat. Writing blog is the latest addition to the list of hobbies I am nurturing since many months now. Writing does not come naturally to me, however, I do not deny that I enjoy this exercise and hope that this might turn rewarding in many ways.

Born in a middle class Indian family, I was subjected to a very different value system. The best part of my life (and for many of us) was my schooling which I had in a christian religion centric environment. This formative years have chiseled me into who I am today. I enjoy the company of my friends and the quality time I spend with my family. In spare time I enjoy reading books, newspapers, and watching movies. Its been almost 8 months now that I have started learning Guitar. Though I don’t seem to have learned enough but I enjoy it.

I will try my level best to write regularly (once in two weeks I believe) but let me just describe what you can expect in my blog. Apart from the usual reflections on life I will try to cover reviews of any book, movie, or an event and festival. That’s the reason the blog is named iReview. I would love to hear from you so that I may know that I’m not alone in this virtual world of blogs. Even if you write 7-8 words to encapsulate what you feel after reading my blog I would find it of real help.

I hope that you enjoy reading.

Cheers πŸ˜‰

  4. Ankit, hi!

I’ve nominated you for the Versatile Blogger Award, which means it seems that you have actually received this award. Please click the link below to read my post about your nomination, and to learn how to respond to it. If you have qualms about the way I’ve described you, please forgive me! If you don’t wish to participate, that’s fine!

    Best wishes,

    1. Hi Maria!

Thank you very much for this gesture, and appreciating my posts. I feel delighted on getting noticed, and making through to your nominees list. I have been busy with my college submissions and hence the delay in reply. I would have loved to participate and nominate other bloggers but, as I am new to blogging I haven’t made friends with other bloggers, or followed them (except a few). However, I will definitely thank you in my next post for this wonderful gesture.

    1. Hi Asha,

You really have a nice name. Read your “Hope” post :). Its been precisely one year since I started blogging but I still consider myself a novice looking at the amazing world of bloggers out there. I am really glad that you liked my blog and thank you for following it. Frankly speaking, I have come across very few blogs that I find worth following. They are very good at what they write but their contents doesn’t appeal me. Your posts are very natural and good to read and that is why I have started following yours as well.

      Happy blogging. πŸ™‚

      1. Hey Ankit,

Sorry for replying late to you. Thank you for your words of admiration. I am glad you approve of my style of writing which I believe is mediocre in itself. I liked your style though. Will be so happy to see you stop by frequently, like I’ll do too! πŸ˜‰

      2. lol..I guess this time it was me who was late in replying. Was busy with my mid-sem exams followed by Diwali celebrations (in fact it was ‘Diwali ki safai’ ;)). Hope that you too had a great time celebrating the arrival of the New Year. Enjoy πŸ™‚
